In what cases is it advisable to undergo a fertility assessment?
A fertility assessment may be advisable when conception is taking a long time, when there is a medical history that could affect reproductive capacity, or simply when you wish to better understand your situation before making decisions. It also allows for proactive planning and an evaluation of available options based on age, medical history, and family planning goals.

In which cases is it advisable to carry out a fertility assessment?
If you are trying to get pregnant and have been trying for a year (or six months if you are over 35), we recommend that you come for a consultation so that we can study your case. The fertility assessment will allow us to know the state of your reproductive health and address any fertility problems.

At IGIN the fertility study is totally free. This means that we will not charge you, neither now nor in the event that you undergo a subsequent process. It simply does not cost you any money. And it doesn’t commit you to anything, or to having a reproduction treatment with us.
What should I bring to the consultation?
On your visit, we recommend that you bring documentation of any gynaecological or fertility tests that you have had previously. Also your partner’s (when applicable).
Will I have to undergo further tests?
During the consultation, your gynaecologist specialising in assisted reproduction will carry out a series of tests to assess your fertility. In addition, if necessary, they may ask you to undergo additional tests to obtain a more complete diagnosis. Normally these tests can be performed at our clinic.
